Rosie Round - Up Weekends

Each year the Rosie's Love hosts special getaway weekends for children and their families. This event is hosted at the Double H - Hole In The Woods Ranch located in Lake Luzerne. This year the "Round-Up" is palnned for September September 12 - 14, 2008.

Round-Up weekends provide an opportunity for children and their families to get away from the grind, spend time with other families going through similar circumstances, but most importantly have some fun.

Rosie Love teams with Albany Medical Center staff and the Double H Staff to provide a number of activities during the weekend including:

• Arts and Crafts;
  
  
• Late Night Bon Fire;

• Hiking and Fishing;
  
  
• Team and Individual Confidence Building and High Ropes Activities; and
  
  
• Discussion and Support Group Activities

Raise Funds and Awareness for the Double H Ranch

• Join Students from all over New York State and beyond and ask your family and friends to sponsor you by pledging any dollar amount for every book you read.
  
  
• Money pledged supports the mission of the Double H Ranch, providing year round therapeutic, educational, recreational and respite programs for children with critical illnesses and their families from your community.
  
  
• All participating students will be invited to the Ranch for a fun-filled tour and pizza party and receive a special "Thank You" certificate.
